Best indian meal I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of Indian food. Great staff, more dishes than the "standard" Indian restaurant, even though they had those too. So good!

We frequently visit this restaurant as a family, living in hereford ourselves there are many Indian restaurants to choose from, but growing up eating Indian food, and knowing what quality is after all this time, unfortunately all the restaurants in hereford fail to deliver time after time. However, the 20 minute drive into Leominster to visit the Jalalabad is worth the drive Every, Single, Time. We visited tonight, and the restaurant was absolutely HEAVING. I must admit, working as a chef for the past 9 years, perhaps, they had put a bit too much on themselves in terms of numbers. But they handled it magnificently. And with approximately 50-60 covers in a very short space of time the quality of the food did not alter whatsoever. A very enjoyable night. And it’s so rare to find a place to eat, to have a night off cooking and have a similar quality to that at home. Interestingly there is a review left for the jalalabad a little over a month ago, it reads ... Food is okay (LIE) we have been going here for a while. But suddenly price has gone through the roof (NO IT HASN’T) they don't like card payments anymore (YES THEY DO) and the bill receipt is hand written on paper with not understanding of what is written on it (YES, ITS HAND WRITTEN AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE) Very strange Unfortunately we will not be coming back (GOOD)!!!. Keep up the fantastic work, and we certainly will be back.
